Reality of engagement

The view on the ground is far different than that from comfortable court rooms.

SAS soldiers took on armed IRA gunmen in 1992 — but a coroner later ruled their use of force ‘not reasonable.’

Mr Justice Michael Humphreys, found the soldiers did not have an honest belief in the necessity of using lethal force and that it was unjustified and not reasonable.

Were they wrong, or was the system?

Watch and decide.
