Hello brothers and sisters in arms. Well what do you know? We're still in the same position as we were, decades ago! Perhaps we could give some credit to this TA Colonel, aka 21 TA SAS character. At least he's trying. However, the reality is he wasn't a 'Career Soldier' He's probably never served in Northern Ireland and seen the death and devastation at first hand caused by the IRA/PIRA! We still have the 'Wrong People' running this government! For sure, that hasn't changed, yet! The 'Blah, Blah, Blah coming from the halls of Westminster is like an endless record! What has changed in favour of veteran immunity from lawfare, and the foookin Human Rights Commission, and there interference? Absolutely nothing! Most MPs are either 'spineless' or those that support the veteran community don't appear to have a meaningful voice. 'The Woke Mentality' that pervades English Politics at the moment is like a vine strangling voices that need to be heard, so that the right changes can be made to protect the interests of veterans with fairness and transparency.
Ben, I am a member John Larke’s fighting patrol and I need to tell you that you have missed the point. You are right that John didn’t serve in NI. That’s why he has me along as the GPMG gunner when the patrol moves in on each of our 6 Cornwall MPs. I have no shortage of NI history. He also includes a medic who has first hand experience of NI induced PTSD in his patients. We have another lad who has a legally framed mind who homes in on the human rights issues as they affect soldiers. John’s quiet authority and preparation leaves the MP in no doubt he or she needs to listen. One Lib Dem MP we met clearly had no idea what his own party’s policy was on NI. John had anticipated that and handed him a print out he had prepared from the Lib Dem’s own policy statements. Every meeting we have had has always ended after double the time allocated with thanks for our clarity. Two of the six have actually thanked us for educating them. John’s fighting patrol format has been adopted by the Household Division and Para Reg Association.
The trouble is Mike nothing moves in the direction that's needed. These twats in the cloister's of Westminster don't give a shit. It's quite obvious! All the good work being done is not being taken on board by these fookin 'Fabians' They're using 'dismissive bullshit' to deflect!
