The government are guilty of abuse against our veterans and should be made to face the consequences.

The government and everyone involved in these "agreements" need to stop the lies and excuses - whatever happened to "honour" it seems it is non existent nowadays, this should have been the case going back. But as ever nothing was done about it, meaning actions and not empty words.

One of the many reasons the UK is in the hole it is in today, in my opinion.

Consider the peace broken and betrayed and proceed accordingly.

Why would you want to serve this country in any conflict anywhere in the world. Make no mistake I served in the British Armed Forces for 30 years, a big bulk of that during quite a few conflicts, worldwide. So I'm no conscientious objector and I'm also very aware that wrong doing by our service people should be investigated and punishment given if due.

But this continual hounding and hunting of now, elderly men, from Op Banner is nothing short of betrayal by our Govs. Cases closed reopened whilst our weak Govs, and the MOD, do nothing to protect those 'THEY' sent to do their bidding.

So my question stands, why would anyone join our wonderful Armed Forces, best in the world, where you face prosecution, with no protection, decades after any conflict you're involved in. Will it affect troops on the ground from the spilt second decisions that literally do mean life or death!

If only those lawyers prosecuting have to make those types of decisions, I think their views would be altered!
