This Government and the British Political System is corrupt and a complete failure! Why? Because those in residence in Downing Street and Westminster are always 'dodging the bullets!' The reality of making the right decisions that will form a protective ring around veterans both here and now and for the future; needs top level military input and not just the 'closed political minds' orchestrating policy that is 'flawed!' The Veteran Community needs to see 'real time' and valued policy being delivered on their behalf. They need to see the political and law system conducting investigations into the IRA/PIRA Terrorist Activity that killed, maimed and instilled fear for decades, to the people of Northern Ireland and Indeed to the citizens of the United Kingdom! The actions of this current government and it's political and law assosiates in Northern Ireland is disgraceful and beyond reproach! You have lost trust and respect from your total Military Establishment and the Electorate! of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland!
Perhaps another way of looking at this could be that those who, while hiding behind anonymity, opposed HMG by their use or arms and IED's should also be brought into public scrutiny to justify - I did say JUSTIFY - their actions. Then perhaps the lady with her sword in one hand and the balance in the other may make progress?
