US General Stanley McChrystal explains the UK SAS:
· What the SAS “brought that made us better.”
· They were “unconventional thinkers.”
· Had “candour up the chain of command.”
· They were “making things happen that were extraordinary”
· And, they had an “unwillingness to back off”.
BUT, unlike US, they had to 'wrestle' with lack of political support.
