Veterans Need Your Voice To Beat the Drum Louder For Justice
The time for silence is over — join the growing outcry against Northern Ireland lawfare
The Government’s response to a petition with over 137,000 signatures calling to end lawfare against Northern Ireland veterans is that:
“The Legacy Act — which would have also given immunity to terrorists — has been found to be unlawful and was opposed by many, including families who lost relatives whilst serving in Northern Ireland. Any government would have to repeal unlawful legislation.”
That legislation is unlawful only in the eyes of foreign judges in Strasbourg.
This suits Lord Hermer and his human rights mates who profit from representing murderers, paedophiles, and terrorists.
As for immunity? Terrorists have already been set free, given “letters of comfort,” and allowed to go on to live their lives, some even to enjoy political positions or patronage.
Only old men who were willing to risk their lives when they were young to protect the public from organised criminals posing as freedom fighters are being hounded.
The past matters now.
Because this is the future for today’s military.
Politicians will only listen if there’s more noise.
More signatures mean more noise.
Keep asking people to sign.
Keep contacting your MP.
Keep beating the drum.
The hugely significant factor that is not being reported is that before any special forces operation that is sanctioned to use lethal force……
……..right before the final ‘go’ - the British PM has to give his/her final approval.
So whether Wilson, Heath, Callaghan, Thatcher, Major or Blair……these were the people who sanctioned the use of lethal force.
I heard Hermer will support Jerry Adams and co to be able to sue us taxpayers for millions for false arrest .
If you are a terrorist you do not deserve any rights !
