You serve your country and then get pursued like a criminal by your own government for years after the event. In the meantime terrorists walk amongst us. The treatment of military veterans in this country is outrageous. Then the government wonders why it can’t retain or recruit in the services. You couldn’t make this up.

An excellent time and well worth watching. All the motorcyclists were former Armed Services personnel. Their good behaviour spoke volumes! I hope there will be many, many more of these mass motorcycle rallies and rides…

Well done to those servicemen. My dear uncle served in NI and I am thankful he is not alive to experience this treatment of those who served in troubled times.

Apologies, sent before complete as I’ve just heard the Runcorn result!! How wonderful to see so many vets standing up for our brilliant soldiers. I’m pretty ancient now but visited Belfast several times during “the troubles” - was there for just after Enniskillen and bombings of the infamous Europa Hotel and saw for myself the extraordinary tension our soldiers had to live through trying to keep the peace. They couldn’t see who the enemy was but they were sitting ducks in Army uniform! Shame on Tony Blair and successive governments for the Amnesty which was totally one-sided! I live near Salisbury Plain so am always conscious of their dedication and courage in defending our country, in complete contrast to those in power who would sell it - and our soldiers - down the river! Bravo guys. You were magnificent!
