If those following Orders from Government Ministers etc, that is where said Orders are issued from via the Ministry of Defence, are going to be hounded to Court - then so should the "chain of command" right up to the top for giving the Order in the first place!

This whole thing is absolutely appalling. If you want to hold someone to account go after the decision makers, the likes of Tony Blair for Iraq, for put those soldiers into those positions in the first place, not the soldiers following orders and putting their lives on the line for their Country and its citizens! The same issue across the UK, the working and middle classes and British patriots paying the price for the ‘elites’ decisions, it’s sickening, I for one am sick of being asked to apologise, pay the price and have my Country ruined due to the decisions of the ‘elites’ who NEVER pay the consequences of their decisions! 🤬

Yet another diabolical act that this awful government have created to destroy and undermine the people of this country. All army personnel have acted upon orders from the government in power at the time of their service so how on earth does this render them responsible for any of the actions taken during times of conflict? Starmer and his government are intent on crushing and destroying every single thing that was achieved by prior governments and our wonderful, brave, heroic and brilliant world renowned military. It appears to me that he wishes to weaken our military to such a degree that we barely have one when we are facing one of the most terrifying and hostile takeovers of our country by the foreign invaders that he and his government welcome with open arms no matter what crime or evil act they commit upon our people. We need Labour out now. There really is no much more that this country can take and the indigenous peoples are living in abject fear every single day.

Reading Starmer's reply to DD it's clear to me that not only he doesn't get it but to him it's way down the batting order compared to the cost of living, which he has declared is his main focus. Starmer needs to realise he should fight battles he can win and forget the one's he can't. The cost of living is mostly way outside his control and, anyway, it cannot be critical compared to the need to have meat behind the government's defence posturing. The rest of the world can see that. This has-been lawyer is incompetently blundering on in the wrong direction, blind to what really matters. 🤬

A blessing he is alleged not so tuned into the Miltary!

Trust Starmer to come out with completely vacuous, meaningless words that offer no comfort to any veteran or serving soldier, sailor or airman.

What’s next - chasing down the RAF pilots who’ve bombed Iraq, Libya, Argentine forces and ships…?

It’s a fucking disgrace and is directly linked to our failing and falling defence capabilities.

He's a career lawyer and politician with no experience of anything of any use to anybody. What else would you expect from a parasite that bleeds his own countrymen dry in support of Davos goals?

A large class action, supported by every veteran who ever served there would I imagine receive the support of a lot of the population. If there was a fundraiser announced on X and other platforms, you’d soon get a fighting fund.

It's utterly rubbish for Stamer to try and dress up these repealed tenants as unintrusive and fairer for any veterans subject to re-investigations. Why are we even contemplating giving terrorists and their family a platform? Also who is going to pay the wages of all these scurrilous greedy lawyers whose only interest is in making money.

Could it be via increased taxes, lower salaries, government taking money directly from people's bank accounts so it all can be given to the invaders/and themselves for their salary increases and expensive trips around the world, NO NET ZERO EMISSIONS THERE, who will then pay for the greedy gorb lawyers?!

The Military should be protected from litigation in acts of war whether on home soil or otherwise . You can't expect the forces to be employed as killers to protect the citizens and then take them to court for the job they do. Kier Starmer is a back stabbing , forked tongue serpent who is deliberately destroying the military the forces should unite against this tyranical government . The heads of each military discipline need to group together against the tyrannyand stand up to the left wing sherade.

It's unbelievable that terrorists get protection whilst our soldiers who were posted by the government of the day face prosecution. This will hamper the safety of our country because no one will fight for a country if they know they might be prosecuted for doing their jobs

I don't care whether or not the immunity provisions “have the support of victims and survivors [and therefore had to be removed from Legacy Act because of ECHR].”

These are brave men who risked their lives for their country under circumstances that the self-aggrandising career lawyers cannot even imagine, let alone survive in. These brave veterans should now be left alone to enjoy their retirements.

The solution is to remove UK from the European Convention on Human Rights. And when that's done we can clear the thousands of fake "asylum seekers" out of our country, and make Britain Great again, like it was when these brave men risked their lives for it.

How about confession with a priest and we call it a day? They can’t bother to visit these veterans and spend the day with them, but they can prosecute them? Sick.
