I would argue for a return of Crown Immunity for servicemen and women in the armed forces, police and security services

Seems to me that if the law transfers responsibility for outcomes downwards then the junior rank must be given the right to refuse the order. I know soldiers, as government employees, do not have this right now, but is it worth pursuing the argument that they must be given the right to refuse an order if it could put them in harms way in future? Clearly that makes the army unworkable but it could help focus political minds on the one way street that is being forced on us.

I remember a man went on television some years ago disagreeing with government orders and people said you have a right to an opinion but that's what you signed up to, do whatever your asked to do
