As a former serviceman who has done tours of Op Banner, I honour the men and women who have served at the bequest of government without objection. The government has betrayed us to take our treasure and sovereignty from us. This was a hidden enemy in guise of citizens conspiring to overthrow the political establishment. In the end the government provided letters of comfort to save them from prosecution. They have left the ones who put their lives on the line, they have been thrown to the dogs. We have a government that is sick.
My observation is that this is typical of communist governments.
Allow me pontificate out of my ass for a few paragraphs:
Stalin killed off nearly the entire upper military in the purges. One of the major reasons Russia got trashed in the Finnish war was bc the commisars wanted the war fought according to the prinicples of communism and would shoot any commander that disagreed
It might help to think of this as a situation where a fanatical priesthood takes over and decides to declare Jihad on their beighbors bc they claim need to prove their religion is true by conquest (in reality they just want to increase their social status)
Nazis and Jihadist theocracies have similar problems. The former by overreaching and refusing to ever course correct, the latter bc their philosophy encourages constant sabotage against each other.
You definitely have a major problem. Because this is the academic-priest class you are dealing with, backed by the old aristocracy that misses the good old days when the peasant scum knew their place
The solution is for the working men to back those academic/priests and aristocrats that are willing to back you.
I think that was your main problem in the Civil War. You had priests on your side, but not enough aristocrats.
Get enough of both and you wont even need to fight. Youll just be restoring order and common sense. Remember, religious fanatics are cowards. Thats why they are so fucking evil.
Have enough of all the clasess pushing back and theyll scurry away and start fawning. Which is a separate problem.
Its always good to have a healthy representation of all the social classes when you push back. The issues as you say, aren’t as complicated as you imply, there has been no real evidence of collusion, just accusations by republicans led by sinn fein/ira, The so-called Glenane gang has just recently been exposed as accusations and lies, there were cases where ex or serving security force personnel colluded with paramilitaries. They have been investigated, prosecuted and jailed but these were cases where individuals acted illegally, there is absolutely no evidence at all, that the state colluded with loyalist paramilitaries as the propaganda from Irish republicans have stated none whatsoever, it became a problem for the ira when loyalist groups were taking out their active service members who were well known in their own areas, they didn’t need any help from the state to garner that intelligence. The whole point of these court cases is to try to rewrite history and whitewash the vicious sectarian republican paramilitaries. To try to show to the world that they were the protectors of the catholic people, when in fact out of all the separate groups British Army, RUC (police) UVF UDA RHC etc it was the IRA who topped the list of the most catholics killed during the troubles and have added to that list since the end of hostilities stamping their authority in their self made ghettos. This process was a deal made between the liar Blair and Sinn Féin behind the scenes during the negotiations of the Belfast Agreement. All of these inquiries and show-trials are totally one-sided and prosecutions on the flimsiest of evidence and the say-so of senior republicans. We saw the pantomime of inquiries into Bloody Sunday and the like, of judges and courts taking evidence from ira men being taken as gospel in a British Court. Enough of this charade it must end now.
He names the problem but he doesn't even recognize it. A country's army is there to protect its country and its PEOPLE, not values. Its when the western world started to talk about values and other political issues instead of taking care of its people that we lost everything.
An army or police force that defends values is easy to turn against its own people and that is what is happening in Britain. Only a violent uprising will be able to stop this in the end.

No, mate, As we have always meade clear, we do not ask for a legal waiver to behave illegally or indiscriminately. All we ask for is a fair and rational legal framework to operate within, using UK laws, managed and controlled by our own elected Parliament.

It seems simple to me, if soldiers behaviour was within the briefed rules of engagement then they are safe from prosecution. If they made honest mistakes under pressure then they are probably safe as well.
